descrizione	Biocatalysts is comprised of 4 companies, headquartered in Cardiff (Wales, UK) and co-located in Nieuwkuijk (Netherlands), Tampa (Florida, USA) and Ascheberg (Germany). Brought together as an integrated Bioproducts Division in October 2023, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of BRAIN Biotech Group, based in Zwingenberg (Germany). We serve customers globally in markets such as food, baking, beverage and pharma / life science, with a view to “become and stay the world’s leading speciality enzyme company and by the quality and dedication of our people, exceed our customers’ expectations”. You will play a key role in our Quality Control (QC) and Research & Development (R&D) team. You will perform enzymatic analyses, optimize protocols, and contribute to innovative research projects. With your analytical skills and scientific knowledge, you'll directly impact product quality, innovation, and knowledge development—both internally and in collaboration with our parent company, BRAIN. Perform and optimize enzymatic assays (spectrophotometric, fluorometric, colorimetric) Analyze enzyme kinetics and process data accurately Prepare buffers, standard curves, and reagents Conduct protein purification (affinity chromatography, ion exchange) and quality analyses (SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, Bradford/BCA) Maintain detailed lab notes and data logs in accordance with GLP/GMP guidelines Operate advanced lab equipment such as spectrophotometers, plate readers, and semi-automated platforms Contribute to protocol optimization and share knowledge with colleagues and internationalpartners. ·Due to the nature of our business, various policies around (for example, and not exhaustively) Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental Management are in place, and are externally regulated.
