As MEI USA continues to evolve and grow our business across North America, we are seeking A highly motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Controller for our Wood Dale, IL office.

Junior Controller

You will report to our Finance Manager and will support the financial operations of our American subsidiary. This role involves assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial information. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments to support the company's financial goals.

Junior Controller Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data.
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Miscellaneous administrative tasks as department/finance manager support.

Education & Other Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting software (eg. Power BI)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Benefits & Schedule:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm.
• Hybrid schedule once training period is successfully completed.
• Pay range between $30.55 - $45.83/hr.
• We offer competitive base pay, overtime, and a discretionary bonus.
