descrizione	For our client, a small, innovative deep tech start-up, we are looking for a Group Finance Director This strategic leadership role requires a hands-on approach to financial planning, management accounting, and reporting while supporting the company’s ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s short and long-term objectives Design and maintain sophisticated financial models to support decision-making, investment planning, and risk assessment Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting Lead financial forecasting and scenario planning to drive business goals Set, analyse, and monitor budgets to optimise financial performance and cost control Ensure efficient processing of invoices, maintaining compliance with local regulations with the support of external advisors Manage VAT, corporate tax, and other financial compliance obligations with the support of external advisors Liaise with investors, auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure financial transparency and governance Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities Fluent in English Proven experience in within a startup or high-growth environment Strong expertise in building complex financial models and applying financial analytics Proficiency in management accounting and financial forecasting A solid background in budget setting, analysis, and financial control Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards A professional accounting qualification is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and countries Willingness to travel Salary range: Euro 100.000/130.000 Northern Italy
