Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
The Olympic and Paralympic Villages are the hearts of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, being the main home of athletes and primary team officials. The Villages Accommodation Services Specialist has the key role in supporting the coordination of all aspects of accommodation services within a village setting, ensuring residents and guests receive exceptional service and support throughout their stay. This role involves overseeing various accommodation-related services to enhance the overall experience and satisfaction of residents. This role exists in the traditional Olympic and Paralympic Villages in Milano.
This position plays a key role in ensuring service delivery within the Villages, providing the residents with a safe and comfortable environment. The goal is to create optimal living conditions throughout the Villages.
This position is responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of daily operations for the Housekeeping and House Laundry Contractor/Supplier, ensuring alignment with otheroperational functions and areas. The role is expected to begin in September 2025 or January 2026, to ensure the Villages readiness during the bump-in phase and to secure the optimal delivery of services throughout the Olympic and Paralympic games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping Management: support the planning and coordination of all the cleaning operations in the Villages.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of linens, toiletries, and other supplies necessary for accommodations. Coordinate procurement and restocking as needed to meet demand.
- Laundries Management: support on planning the house laundry and resident laundries service in the Villages.
- Facilities Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any maintenance or repair needs within accommodations, ensuring a safe and functional environment for residents
- Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality standards for cleanliness, comfort within accommodations. Support the development of an overall plan with contractors and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with organizational policies and residents' expectations.
- Residential Services (Resident Centre).
- Support on the service levels planning of the Resident Centres in all villages, on the focus to provide exemplary customer service to residents, communication structure on the issue resolution system required during Games time to address inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly.
- Support other villages’ operations from different functional areas to guarantee the services levels committed.
- Provide ongoing support during the Games, addressing any unforeseen challenges or changes in the service's needs.
