Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise customers across SD-WAN, SSE, SASE, and NGFW domains
• Translate business requirements into high-level design and detailed architecture documents
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop commercially viable proposals and value-driven solutions
• Present technical solutions to stakeholders, including C-level executives, with clear business impact narratives
• Stay current with industry trends, vendor roadmaps, and emerging technologies to inform solution strategy
• Support bid responses, RFPs, and pre-sales engagements with technical leadership
• Serve as a senior technical advisor for enterprise customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to create scalable, secure designs based on vendor best practices
• Act as a conduit between sales and the professional services teams to ensuring proposed solutions are deliverable
• Demonstrates deep understanding of customer business models, market dynamics, and competitive pressures
• Aligns technical solutions with commercial goals, ensuring ROI, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Supports go-to-market strategies with technical insight and contributes to revenue growth through solution innovation
• Balances cost, risk, and performance in architecture decisions, advocating for value-driven outcomes

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to influence and build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in cross-functional teams including sales, product, and delivery

Experience

•5+ years as a Solution Architect working in the Network / Network Security space

•5+ years working for a reseller, MSP, or SI

•Proven delivery of multi-site SD-WAN/SSE (SASE), LAN/WAN refresh, and cloud integration solutions

Technical Solution Knowledge

SD-WAN (Software-Defined WAN) – Aruba/Fortinet

•Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)

•Overlay/underlay network design

•Traffic steering and path selection

•WAN optimization and QoS

•Integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

SSE (Security Service Edge) – Zscaler / HPE Aruba Networking SSE

•Cloud-delivered security services: SWG, CASB, ZTNA

•Identity-based access control

•Integration with identity providers (IdP)

•Policy enforcement and user segmentation

SASE (Secure Access Service Edge): Zscaler, FortiSASE, Prisma Access

•Unified architecture combining SD-WAN and SSE

•Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)

•Cloud-native security and networking convergence

•Multi-tenant and multi-cloud design principles

NGFW (Next-Generation Firewall): Palo Alto / Fortinet

•Deep packet inspection, IPS/IDS

•Application-aware filtering

•Threat intelligence integration

•SSL decryption and inspection

•Policy-based access control

Security Frameworks:

•Familiarity with NIST and Zero Trust principles
